Job description

Step Teachers are currently working with an excellent school just outside the town of Diss for an MFL Teacher. The role is for a long-term supply teacher.

The school views its establishment as a large family environment with good community relations. The school wants the very best education for the students in their care and creates very positive relationships which promote excellent behaviour of their polite and courteous students and calm and disruption-free classes.  

Role:

  • Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Modern Foreign Language
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
  • Maintain an organised and professional classroom with all of the associated resources
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Requirements:

  • Have mainstream school-based experience teaching Modern Foreign Language at secondary school level
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
  • Modern Foreign Language relevant degree
