Class Act Teaching Services are Oxfordshire's leading supply teaching agency and we are currently looking for a PE Teacher. The position is in a Secondary School in Bicester who are looking for a PE Teacher to work 3 days per week, Monday to Wednesday starting at the beginning of February. This is an ongoing supply teaching role at least until the end of term.
There is a strong emphasis on the ethos of this Secondary School which is to provide an education that removes barriers to a young person’s ability to learn and thrive. The school are looking for a teacher who can make a positive impact within the school and inspire students to be ambitious.
PE Teacher Role:
- Strong PE curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4 including to GCSE Level
- Upkeep a tidy, organised learning environment with the safe use and storage of all equipment.
- Direct and support any additional staff where applicable
- Ability to assess and report on your students when required
- Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
PE Teacher Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school
- Have recent mainstream experience as a PE Teacher
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- A relevant PE or Sports related degree is desirable.
- SEND experience is desirable
