Step Teachers are a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts and we are currently working with a Secondary School near Hertford who are looking for a Physics Teacher for an ongoing supply role. The school are looking for a Physics Teacher to start as soon as possible in the New Year to teach Science with specialism in Physics. This is a part time Physics Teacher role 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday and some flexibility with the third day.

Physics Teacher Role
- Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Physics curriculum
- Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
- Maintain a well organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these
Physics Teacher Requirement:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
- Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Science or Physics Teacher in a Secondary School
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- A relevant Science related degree is desirable
- SEND experience is desirable
