Duties as a Design Technology Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and practical lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable).

• Promote creativity and problem-solving skills through Design Technology subjects such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, and Textiles.

• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, managing both theoretical and practical lessons.

• Adapt quickly to different schools and follow lesson plans or create your own as required.

• Ensure safety in the workshops and practical environments.

Ideal Design Technology Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools.

• Is confident in delivering practical lessons and managing workshops as a Design Technology Teacher.

• Is adaptable, reliable, and able to maintain high standards of classroom management.

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
