Step Teachers are looking for a Year 4/5 SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Camden. As a preferred supplier, we have a long-standing relationship with this school and are looking for a Year 4/5 SEND Teaching Assistant for a Long-Term (Supply) role starting immediately or September 2024

The school has a solid history of retaining an Ofsted Good grading and has hardworking staff who are committed to providing the best learning experiences for every child. Our curriculum is well-planned to meet the needs of the children and prepare them for the next stage in their learning.

SEND Teaching Assistant Role:

• Able to provide support on a 1-2-1, small group or whole class basis.
• Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school.
• Ability to support student and encourage their progression.
• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively.

SEND Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant
• A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable.
• Strong SEND experience is desirable.
• Send Teaching Assistant is required to have experience with intimate care.
• Experience working with Year4/5 Pupils
• SEN 1:1 Support from Rec-Yr 2 X3
