Are you an experienced and motivated Year 5 Teacher looking for a new full-time role? Step Teachers are working with a Primary School in Enfield that was rated "Good" under the previous Ofsted system to find a Year 5 Teacher to join their team in February 2025, supporting a class of diverse and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 pupils. This Year 5 Teacher should be ready to engage with their students while their usual teacher is on maternity leave until the end of the academic year, contributing to the school's friendly educational atmosphere while they're there and ensuring that lessons run smoothly.
Class Teacher - Role:
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
• Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Class Teacher - Requirements:
• Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Have recent experience as a Class Teacher in a primary school.
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
