Job description

This is a dynamic and welcoming school committed to providing high-quality education and support to their students and staff. We are currently seeking an Admin Assistant to join their team and support the smooth running of the school’s administrative functions. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as an Admin Assistant:

 

  • Provide general administrative support to the school leadership team and staff.

  • Manage and organise school correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and post.

  • Assist in maintaining school records, including student files and attendance data.

  • Support the preparation of reports, newsletters, and other communications.

  • Coordinate school events, meetings, and parent-teacher consultations.

  • Assist with the management of school finances, including petty cash and invoices.

  • Ensure the school’s filing system is accurate, up-to-date, and secure.

  • Manage school supplies and order resources when necessary.

  • Assist with the organisation of staff and student records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

Ideal Admin Assistant:

 

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and school management software (or willingness to learn).

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving as an Admin Assistant.

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in a school or education setting.
