Schools in Stratford are looking for a proactive and reliable Cover Supervisor to support the delivery of lessons across a variety of subjects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to gain valuable classroom experience. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. This role begins ASAP.

Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-set lesson materials and ensure students stay on task.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Support students with their learning and respond to any questions they may have.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and behaviour.

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar role (desirable but not essential).
• A passion for education and supporting students' learning.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Cover Supervisor.
• The ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups.
• A confident, proactive, and professional approach.
