Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise lessons across a range of subjects and year groups using pre-prepared materials

• Ensure students remain on task and follow school expectations

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning atmosphere

• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and engagement

• Assist with administrative tasks or support roles when cover is not required

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or educational setting

• Confident with managing groups of students and maintaining discipline

• Flexible, well-organised and calm under pressure

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Cover Supervisor

• A team player with a genuine interest in education
