We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Dance Teacher to join our Performing Arts department. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop technical skills, creativity, and confidence through a dynamic and engaging dance curriculum across Key Stages KS3 to KS5.

You will contribute to both curricular and extra-curricular dance, including showcases, performances, and examination work (e.g. GCSE, BTEC, A Level, or equivalent).

Duties as a Dance Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, energetic dance lessons across various styles and abilities.

• Prepare students for assessments, exams, and performances.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages expression and teamwork.

• Contribute to school productions, enrichment clubs, and community events.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dance pedagogy and performance trends.

Ideal Dance Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent performing arts qualification.

• A strong background in dance performance and/or choreography.

• Experience teaching dance at secondary or FE level.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Dance Teacher.

• Passion for inspiring young people through the performing arts.
