This school is seeking a passionate and creative Design and Technology Teacher to join their dedicated and innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of DT disciplines to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Duties as Design Technology Teacher:

• Plan and deliver exciting, practical lessons across areas such as Product Design, Engineering, Graphics, or Resistant Materials (depending on specialism).

• Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and achievement.

• Foster curiosity, resilience, and a love of designing and making.

• Contribute to curriculum planning, resource development, and departmental initiatives.

• Uphold health and safety standards in workshop settings.

• Participate in wider school life, including enrichment activities and school events.

Ideal Design Technology Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• A degree or specialism in Design and Technology or a related subject.

• Strong subject knowledge and practical skills across one or more DT areas.

• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills as a Design Technology Teacher.

• A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners.
