Schools around Enfield are seeking a confident and enthusiastic English Cover Supervisor to join their teams. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education who can supervise and deliver pre-planned English lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. As an English Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring students stay engaged and continue making progress in their English studies. This role begins ASAP.

Duties as English Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise and manage classroom behaviour during English lessons.
• Deliver pre-prepared English lesson materials to students across different year groups.
• Ensure students remain on task and provide support where necessary.
• Work closely with teaching staff to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student engagement and behaviour.

Ideal English Cover Supervisor:

• Previous experience as an English Cover Supervisor or working in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
• A strong interest in English and supporting student learning.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to working in different classroom environments.
