A school in Oxfordshire is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will be teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as English Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature that foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking

• Help students develop their communication, analytical, and writing skills in a supportive environment

• Provide constructive feedback to support students’ progress and achievement

• Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities such as book clubs, drama productions, and writing workshops

• Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve teaching practices and contribute to departmental initiatives

Ideal English Teacher:

• Holds QTS and a degree in English or a related subject

• Is passionate about teaching and inspiring students to reach their full potential

• Can create dynamic lessons that engage students and develop their skills as an English Teacher.

• Has strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a variety of learning needs

• Works well as part of a team and has excellent communication skills
