English Teacher Duties:

• Teach English Language and Literature across KS3/KS4/KS5

• Deliver engaging, inclusive, and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners

• Prepare pupils for internal and external assessments, including GCSE and/or A-Level examinations

• Support students in developing a strong command of the written and spoken word

• Contribute to the department's enrichment activities, such as book clubs, theatre trips, or creative writing workshops

Ideal English Teacher:

• QTS and a degree in English or a related subject

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language

• High expectations of student achievement and behaviour

• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities

• A team player with excellent communication and planning skills as an English Teacher.
