The successful candidate will be passionate about language teaching and have the ability to inspire and engage pupils across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 This role begins May 2025.

Duties as a French/Spanish Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive French and/or Spanish lessons.
• Develop pupils’ confidence and enthusiasm for learning a new language.
• Use creative teaching methods to enhance language acquisition, including games, songs, and cultural activities.
• Assess and track pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop the modern foreign languages curriculum.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including language clubs, trips, or cultural events.

Ideal French/Spanish Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in French, Spanish, or a related subject.
• Experience teaching French and/or Spanish at Secondary level.
• A strong understanding of language acquisition and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills as a French/Spanish Teacher.
• A passion for inspiring young learners and promoting cultural awareness.
