This vibrant school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join their passionate and supportive humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and develop a love for history through engaging and thought-provoking lessons. This role begins April 2025.

Duties as History Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that bring history to life.

• Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).

• Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

• Assess, monitor, and support students' academic progress.

• Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities, such as history clubs or school trips.

Ideal History Teacher:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

• Has a strong subject knowledge and passion for history.

• Has experience teaching history in a secondary school (desirable but not essential for Early Career Teachers).

• Is an engaging and inspirational teacher with excellent classroom management skills as a History Teacher.

• Is committed to promoting a love of learning and historical enquiry.
