We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a wonderful Nursery. You will support the daily running of the nursery, assisting in the care, supervision, and development of children.. Working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers, you will help create a positive and engaging atmosphere for young learners. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Nursery Assistant:

• Assist in providing a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children.

• Support children's learning and development through play and structured activities.

• Help with daily routines, including mealtimes, nappy changing, and toileting.

• Encourage positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

• Assist in setting up and tidying learning areas.

• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

• Support colleagues in delivering the EYFS framework.

Ideal Nursery Assistant:

• A passion for working with young children.

• Experience in a nursery or early years setting (desirable but not essential).

• A Level 2 qualification in Childcare (desirable but not essential).

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.

• Good communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Assistant.

• A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
