Step Teachers are seeking an experienced Primary School Teacher located in Hoddesdon commencing in February 2025. This full-time position is for 1 month initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.

Your duties as a Primary School Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs and high-achieving students.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain high standards of discipline.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the school.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

To be considered for this Primary School Teacher position, you will:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about providing a positive and inclusive learning experience for all students.
• Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children as their Primary School Teacher
