We are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Year Teacher to join a caring and committed Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lay strong foundations for children at the very beginning of their school journey. Beginning May 2025.

Duties as a Reception Year Teacher:

• Lead a Reception class, delivering a high-quality Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

• Create a vibrant, safe, and stimulating learning environment that promotes play-based and purposeful learning.

• Support all areas of development—academic, social, and emotional—through creative, engaging, and inclusive teaching.

• Work closely with support staff, parents, and colleagues to provide holistic care and education.

• Monitor and track pupil progress using appropriate EYFS assessment methods.

Ideal Reception Year Teacher:

• A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience or training in Early Years education.

• A caring, patient, and committed individual who understands the needs of young learners.

• Strong understanding of EYFS pedagogy, play-based learning, and early child development.

• Excellent communication and classroom organisation skills as a Reception Year Teacher.

• A team player who brings energy, creativity, and a positive attitude.
