This school is seeking a caring and committed Reception Year Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated Early Years team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children at a vital stage in their development and play a key role in their early learning journey. Beginning June 2025.

Duties as a Reception Year Teaching Assistant:

• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

• Support children’s learning and development through play, interaction, and structured activities.

• Help to create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Assist with setting up activities, preparing resources, and maintaining a safe and tidy learning space.

• Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to their learning profiles.

• Support children with personal care routines when required.

• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Ideal Reception Year Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with young children, ideally in an EYFS or Reception setting.

• A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable).

• A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for early childhood education.

• Good communication and teamwork skills as a Reception Year Teaching Assistant.

• An understanding of child development and safeguarding best practices.
