Duties as Food Technology Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Teach students essential cooking skills, nutrition, food safety, and healthy eating principles.

• Encourage creativity, independence, and a love of cooking among students.

• Ensure high standards of health and safety in food preparation areas.

• Adapt to different school settings and follow lesson plans or create your own when required.

Ideal Food Technology Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has experience teaching Food Technology or a related Design Technology subject.

• Is passionate about food education and inspiring students' practical skills as a Food Technology Teacher.

• Is flexible, adaptable, and confident managing classroom behaviour.

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
