Job description

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support teachers in delivering high-quality education at vibrant schools around Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will work closely with students, providing additional assistance to those who need extra support with their learning. This role begins ASAP.

Duties as Teaching Assistant:

 

  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students

  • Assist with lesson planning and preparing learning materials

  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) if required

  • Supervise students during break times and school activities

  • Assist with administrative tasks and record-keeping

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

 

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable but not essential)

  • A patient, supportive, and positive attitude

  • Good communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant.

  • A willingness to learn and adapt to different teaching styles

  • A passion for helping students reach their full potential
