We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping children's learning at a vital stage in their primary education. Beginning May 2025.

Duties as a Year 2 Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued, and able to succeed.

• Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform teaching.

• Prepare pupils for end-of-KS1 assessments in a calm and encouraging way.

• Communicate effectively with parents, carers and colleagues.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in events, trips, and clubs.

Ideal Year 2 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Year 2 Teacher.

• A caring and reflective practitioner with high expectations of all learners.

• Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute positively to school life.
