We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a warm and welcoming team at a vibrant school. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for delivering creative, high-quality teaching and making a real difference in the lives of children. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum

  • Assess, track and report on pupils’ progress to ensure all children make good or better progress

  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

  • Maintain positive behaviour management in line with the school’s policies

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and leadership

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers about children’s progress and well-being

  • Contribute to wider school life, including assemblies, trips, events and enrichment activities

  • Engage in professional development and contribute to the school’s ongoing improvement

Ideal Year 3 Teacher:

 

  • Is a skilled classroom practitioner with strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum

  • Has high expectations for all learners and a commitment to inclusive practice

  • Can deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and deepen understanding

  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families

  • Works well as part of a supportive team and contributes to whole school life

  • Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills as a a Year 3 Teacher.

  • Brings energy, creativity and a willingness to grow professionally
