We have a school that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teaching Assistant to support students and teachers in delivering a high-quality learning experience. The successful candidate will assist with classroom activities, provide individual and group support, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role begins March 2025.

Duties as Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Work with small groups or individual students who need additional support.
• Assist with classroom organisation, preparing learning resources and materials.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a focused learning environment.
• Support students with their reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
• Provide pastoral support, ensuring the well-being of students.
• Supervise students during playtimes, lunchtimes, and school outings.
• Assist with assessing student progress and providing feedback to the teacher.

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting (desirable).
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
• A passion for education and supporting young learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude as a Teaching Assistant
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
