Duties as Computer Science Teacher:

• Teach Computer Science across Key Stage 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5.

• Create engaging and effective lesson plans that promote student learning and participation.

• Encourage a passion for computing and technology through a range of dynamic teaching strategies.

• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parents.

• Work collaboratively with other departments to integrate computing skills across the curriculum.

Ideal Computer Science Teacher:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject.

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).

• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach programming, algorithms, and computational thinking.

• The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
