This is a nurturing, inclusive, and ambitious primary school at the heart of the local community. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Teacher to lead a Key Stage 1 and 2 provision and continue their journey of excellence in education and care. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as KS1/2 Head Teacher:
Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
Drive continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and pupil outcomes
Ensure a rich, engaging, and inclusive curriculum across KS1 and KS2
Lead a culture of high expectations, positive behaviour, and safeguarding
Promote the wellbeing and professional development of staff
Engage effectively with pupils, parents, governors, and the wider community
Manage school resources effectively to support educational priorities
Uphold and develop the school’s vision, values, and inclusive ethos
Ideal KS1/2 Head Teacher:
Has proven experience in a senior leadership role in a primary setting
Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the KS1/KS2 curriculum and pedagogy
Is child-focused, values-driven, and committed to equity and inclusion
Can inspire, challenge, and support staff at all levels
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills as a KS1/2 Head Teacher.
Thinks strategically and leads with clarity, compassion, and integrity
Has a deep understanding of school improvement and quality assurance
Is committed to safeguarding and creating a safe, nurturing learning environment
