Duties as KS1/2 Head Teacher:
Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management across KS1 and KS2
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all learners
Inspire high-quality teaching and learning, raising standards and ensuring strong pupil progress
Empower staff through effective leadership, coaching, and professional development
Promote strong links with parents, carers, and the wider community
Uphold and develop the school’s ethos, vision, and values
Maintain rigorous safeguarding and wellbeing practices
Manage resources efficiently and ensure financial sustainability
Ideal KS1/2 Head Teacher:
Have proven leadership experience, ideally as a Head, Deputy, or senior leader in a primary setting
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum and pedagogy
Are strategic thinkers with a clear commitment to inclusive, child-centred education
Are confident communicators and skilled team builders as a KS1/2 Head Teacher.
Are passionate about inspiring staff and pupils to be the best they can be
