Your duties as a Primary School Teacher:
- Plan and deliver exciting, play-based learning experiences that help children develop in all areas: cognitive, emotional, social, and physical.
- Foster a love of learning by incorporating a range of activities that appeal to different learning styles.
- Assess children’s progress and provide individual support to ensure that each child is reaching their full potential.
- Build positive relationships with children and their families, keeping parents informed of their child’s progress and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop a dynamic and effective curriculum that engages young minds.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
- Encourage good behavior and emotional development through praise, positive reinforcement, and age-appropriate strategies.
- Lead the transition from home to school for our youngest learners, ensuring they feel confident, happy, and ready to learn.
To be considered for this Primary School Teacher position, you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in the early years (preferred but not essential).
- A passion for working with young children and an understanding of how they learn and develop.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Creativity, patience, and a sense of humor!
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan and deliver lessons that are both educational and fun.
