Your duties as a Primary School Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students in the class.
  • Differentiate learning to ensure every student is supported, challenged, and able to reach their potential.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and mutual respect.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure their continued development.
  • Create a nurturing atmosphere where students feel safe, confident, and encouraged to take risks in their learning.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to share ideas, develop curriculum resources, and support student growth.
  • Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships in supporting each child’s development and progress.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities that enhance the educational experience for students, such as school trips or after-school clubs.

To be considered for this Primary School Teacher position, you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Primary Education or a related subject.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting children’s development across all areas of their lives.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a wide range of learning styles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Enthusiasm, patience, and creativity in your approach to teaching as a Primary School Teacher.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting
