Duties as an English Teacher:

• Deliver pre-planned English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable).

• Inspire a love of literature, language, and creative writing in students.

• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment, maintaining high standards of behaviour and academic progress.

• Adapt to different school settings and effectively manage classrooms.

• Support the smooth continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.

Ideal English Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has experience teaching English at secondary school level.

• Is flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments as an English Teacher.

• Has a passion for literature and language, and the ability to inspire students.

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of students.
