Duties as a KS1 Teacher:

• Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum

• Creating a classroom where children feel safe, supported, and inspired

• Planning and adapting learning to meet the needs of all pupils

• Tracking and assessing progress to ensure strong outcomes

• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school team

• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics (e.g. Little Wandle, Read Write Inc., etc.)

• A nurturing, patient and reflective approach

• Passion for child-centred, active learning

• Strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS1 Teacher.

• A commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding
