Job description

We’re now looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join them as soon as possible and play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

 

  • Support pupils’ learning across a range of subjects

  • Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation, and resource development

  • Deliver targeted interventions and small group support

  • Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, inclusive classroom

  • Provide feedback on pupils’ progress and support their personal development

  • Work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals as needed

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

 

  • Experience working with children or young people (in school or other settings)

  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSEs or equivalent)

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities as a Teaching Assistant.

  • A passion for helping pupils reach their potential

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 TA qualification) are desirable, but not essential
